Adam Carpenter is a seasoned music business owner and serial entrepreneur in Dallas, Texas. In 2011, he founded Watershed Music Group®, which pioneered and reimagined opportunities for creators and independent rights holders in the modern music era.
Adam’s passion for copyright, music publishing, production, and business began in childhood and flourished during his college years at Christ For the Nations Institute and Dallas Baptist University. As a musician, he was at the heart of a defining musical moment in DFW, ushering in a modern era of Christian music alongside artists like Klaus, Kari Jobe, Rick Pino, Gateway Worship, Rachel Tuttle, and many others.
He spent many years traveling the world as a manager, musician, and singer with a successful independent artist. These experiences and rare successes for an independent provided a perspective, knowledge base, and vision, leading to the formation of Watershed.
