An independent music company.

Watershed Music Group is an independent music company working across publishing, administration, and recorded music. Music is a long business. Catalog is treated as an asset, and songs are given room to hold their value over time.

Divisions

Watershed Music Publishing

Publisher

Watershed Music Publishing is the company’s publisher. The work is creative: partnering with songwriters, developing catalog, and building long-term relationships with the writers and rights owners whose work the company represents. Ownership is treated as a long-term position, not a transaction.

Watershed Label Group

Recorded Music & Label Infrastructure

Watershed Label Group is the company’s recorded music and label infrastructure division. It houses three distinct brands — Watershed Records, Lowerstill, and Eclaphone Records — each with its own role in the group, while also providing operational infrastructure for aligned partner labels. The work is structural: releases, rights, and the systems that keep recorded music moving.

Watershed Rights Management

Administrator

Watershed Rights Management is the company's administrator. The work is operational: registering songs, tracking usage, collecting royalties, and managing the systems that keep catalog accurately reported across territories and platforms. Administration is the infrastructure underneath a modern publishing business, and the modern music business demands precision.

Songs in the catalog have been recognized by ASCAP and BMI. Writers and artists have received two GMA Dove Awards, and the catalog includes Grammy-winning songs. Music has appeared on American Idol and The Voice.
